Hello! My name is Hadear Hassan and I am a Kindergarden class teacher at an International school teaching the US Common Core Curriculum in Cairo, Egypt.
I am also currently a student in the Educator Preparation Program at the Texas Institute of Education. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies with a Specialization in Early Childhood Development from Purdue University.

I was born and raised in the Washington D.C metropolitan area to an American mother and my father is originally from the Middle East. I speak fluent Arabic and can read and write a little as well. I have lived all over the American Mid-West as well as all over the Middle East.
I feel being Multi Cultural and living amongst different cultures has helped me in my teaching because I feel it has exposed me to wealth of knowledge and respect of students learning styles with respect to their cultural differences and environments.
